Pulmonary tuberculosis is mainly transmitted by droplets or air with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Severe cases will lead to lung necrosis, with a high risk of health hazards .

"Tuberculosis (TB) is a lung disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. Not only to the lungs, it can also spread beyond the lungs and cause TB in other organs. If it progresses to open pulmonary tuberculosis, the mortality rate can be as high as 50%. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is transmitted by droplets and can be found in bronchial lavage fluid or body fluids.

TANBead provides nucleic acid extraction reagent kits for bacteria, with automated nucleic acid extraction instruments of different throughputs, to assist in the diagnosis and analysis of tuberculosis infection.
