Respiratory tract infection

Respiratory tract infection is usually caused by viruses or bacteria, which is one of the common symptoms of colds. However, improper treatment may cause pathogens such as fungi and bacteria to invade the lungs, resulting in serious pneumonia symptoms. Usually these pathogens can be found in sputum, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) and other samples.

TANBead provides nucleic acid extraction reagent kits for viruses, bacteria and fungi, with automated nucleic acid extraction instruments of different throughputs, to assist in the detection and analysis of respiratory tract infections. Bacterial DNA Extraction Reagent Kits (61G/ 61G-SE) and Fungal DNA Extraction Reagent Kit (61F) are suitable for sputum and BAL samples, while Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Reagent Kit (665) is suitable for nasopharyngeal swab and other respiratory tract-related sampling tools.
